BIOGRAPHY

Chidinma Opara is an emergent international business manager who is currently in her second year studying International Business Management, IBM, at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences and is the vice president of her department's student council. She possesses outstanding managerial competencies that complement and delineate her top five talents – wordsmith, inspiring captain, visual organizer, engaged listener, and selective star – as she pursues her career and humanitarian goals. She is Nigerian and was born in Nigeria on 11/28/1995 where she obtained her first bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri. Since Nigeria’s culture is all she has known all her life, starting studies in Belgium in the multicultural IBM setting has gratified one of her deepest desires since childhood; to experience other cultures around the world. She also speaks some Dutch now. Chidinma switched academic fields when she realized that her bachelor’s in Nigeria hardly reflected whom she sees herself as. In line with her core passion, she plans to further her education and start her own company in the business field of communication and media in the nearest future. Chidinma has done and still does jobs in media, communication and administrative roles at known brands' branches like DHL Kallo, NIKO Sint-Niklaas, ACF Belgium, PE Live Belgium, The SMART Career Network, etc. and is currently volunteering at Cherut Belgium. The enthusiastic young professional is also a creative writer on her WordPress blog “Dimma’s Ink.”
