How did I decide on priorities?
Setting my priorities was based on what mattered most to me and my goals as a student and as an individual with personal life goals. First, I took a look at the goals I had set at the beginning of both the calendar year, the academic year and later on in the time management and coaching TMD class session. Recapitulating these goals helped me set my priorities aright and know which activities I needed to spend more time on and those I needed to spend less time on. Setting my priorities helped me to stick to the planning I made because at each point in time I knew what was most important to me and to the achievement of the goals I had set.
Where did I get the necessary information for all those activities?
I got most of the necessary information I needed for those activities from my outlook calendar that had already been synced from my “Mijn Dinar” class schedule, some from the “Assignments” tab on all my CANVAS courses and some from my personal day to day to-do list on my phone note pad.
How did I assign the expected time to each activity, (e.g. test, task, prep, study …)? Did I make a task breakdown list first? Why? why not?
I assigned the expected time to each activity based on where it was situated on my priority list and how urgent they were. This was so because I made a task breakdown list first before I assigned time blocks to each task. I had to make a task break down list first so that I can see every task clearly and can put them in their respective categories and priority levels before assigning time blocks to them on the days they are supposed to take place.
